As individuals, we search for safety, and I believe that this begins with finding safety within ourselves. I believe in supporting individuals in learning their strengths to aid in developing more trust and safety within themselves, and then learning to translate this into their lives acting as their own best advocates.I work hard to provide a space for clients to unapologetically explore their inner needs and desires and utilize their strengths to express these needs and desires in their lives through empathetic support.

Since I can remember, I have had an interest in learning about people, what they like, what makes them happy, and how they perceive the world around them. I had the opportunity to see how beneficial self-discovery is, and this fueled my passion to enter into the mental health field. My passion, once I began practicing, is working with ARFID, Eating Disorders, and Neurodivergence (specifically, ADHD and Autism). My patience, tenacity, and personal approach to every client makes me a strong, supportive and caring resource to aiding in the care and well-being of my clients.

While working in eating disorders, I became aware of the harm that neurodiverse individuals experience in traditional treatment. I believe in personalized and sustainable approaches that encompass all abilities of individuals, and I hope to be a clinician who clients view as a safe space to explore how neurodiversity impacts their day to day life (i.e. sensory processing, communication, and emotional sensations).

My modality is client focused/strength-based therapy with an emphasis on ACT. I believe in approaching each individual as they would like to be seen/experienced, and I work hard to develop an understanding based in acceptance, a passion for learning, and empathy. I work with individuals to provide a judgement free and safe space to empower them to learn more about how they experience their relationship with themselves, their relationship with others, and their environment. I also work with individuals to develop skills to confront and process emotions, life experiences and relationships which all impact the lens in how they perceive the world around them. My belief is that everyone is capable of living the life that they have envisioned for themselves, and the work in therapy helps to better understand where the journey begins for healing, finding safety, and believing in yourself.
