Melody Murray
Melody Murray is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Child Mental Health Specialist in private practice counseling individuals 14 - 75 years old. She has expertise in childhood emotional neglect, trauma, family dynamics and suicidal ideation. For years, Melody worked for years as a Mental Health Evaluator in a hospital Emergency Department assessing homicidal and suicidal patients before and throughout the Covid Pandemic.
She is a former comedian who left a lucrative career as a reality TV producer and director to work in mental health. She was no longer comfortable promoting dysfunctional behavior and went back to school to obtain a master’s degree in clinical psychology. She swapped out television for a career in mental health where she helps guide individuals and families from trauma to triumph in their healing journeys. The next iteration of her career includes more public speaking and authoring more books and courses and creating scripted television shows. Melody’s debut non-fiction book is “Mourning the Living: When the Loved One You’ve Lost is Still Here.” Her second project is the workbook, “My Bounce Back Plan: Designing Your Own Healing Formula” which will be released spring 2024.
