Sara Chobot

A Self-Sufficiency Coordinator for Tioga Opportunities Inc., located in Tioga County, NY. Sara has spent the last 14 years of her career in human services; many of those years spent working directly with families in crisis.  She is a Nationally Certified ACES Trainer, a Certified Financial Social Work Counselor, an

instructor for the Family Development Credential and a trainer of Trauma Informed Care.  Her goals are education and facilitated discussion with the aim to generate systemic change. When not engaging with her community, you can find Sara in the woods hiking and camping as an assistant scoutmaster.
